Simon is the Managing Partner of KPMG Acceleris, an FCA-regulated Venture Capital Advisory house with a presence across the UK. Simon specialises in advising high-growth SMEs and possesses expert fundraising knowledge to allow companies to access the right capital to match their growth ambitions. An experienced venture capital adviser having worked in the sector for 18 years, Simon is an analytically focused executive who has advised on multiple transactions across a broad spectrum of sectors from Seed to Series A stage and has also advised on three client IPO transactions. Simon has excellent relationships with multiple different categories of investors including HNWI’s, family offices and VC funds and has sat on the Board of several of KPMG Acceleris’s investee companies. Outside of work, Simon can be found spending time in the great outdoors be it running, cycling or (ideally) exploring the fells of the Lake District.

Sarah has over 16 years of experience in supporting growth businesses with seed to Series A fundraises. With years’ of technology transaction experience in particular Sarah brings a solid understanding of UK technology investors and deal dynamics. Sarah was previously Head of Raising Finance at Cooper Parry and the national Head of GrowthFinance for Grant Thornton’s Corporate Finance business. She was a NED for fundingLondon's "Greater London Investment Fund" (GLIF).

As a Partner and Head of Products and Partnerships at KPMG Acceleris, I am passionate about empowering entrepreneurs to bring their innovative ideas to life. With over 14 years of experience in the early-stage ecosystem and a background in both professional services and entrepreneurship, I am uniquely equipped to guide early-stage, high-growth companies through their capital planning strategy. At KPMG Acceleris, we are committed to supporting innovation and entrepreneurship by providing world-class fundraising advisory services. As Head of Products and Partnerships, my role is to develop and launch new products and services that help our clients raise capital more efficiently and effectively. This includes creating proprietary fundraising tools and building out new service lines that can better support our clients throughout the fundraising process. I am also responsible for managing strategic partnerships with other organizations in the fundraising ecosystem. By identifying potential partners, building relationships, and working collaboratively to bring new value to our clients, we are able to offer a comprehensive suite of fundraising solutions that are tailored to each client's unique needs. I take pride in the work that we do at KPMG Acceleris and the impact that we have on the entrepreneurship community. Whether it's advising on a £20m Series A fundraise in Agtech or a £6m fundraise in Cleantech, I am deeply committed to helping startups and entrepreneurs achieve their fundraising goals. Director
Nick has over 10 years' of experience in supporting scaling companies through Series A rounds and beyond, with particular experience in working in the technology, consumer, and leisure sectors. He has experience in transacting with venture capital, private equity, debt, family offices, and corporate investors. Nick holds the Corporate Finance Qualification and is a chartered accountant.
Operations Manager
Lauren sits within the Operations team at KPMG Acceleris. Having worked with KPMG Acceleris prior to the Joint Venture she has worked across most functions within the business. Previously part of the Deals team working across a number of clients in the tech, life sciences and ESG sectors. Lauren has achieved a Level 3 Certificate in Corporate Finance from the CISI.
